Art made for you, with you.

I'm Marta, a 31-year-old artist based in Paris, born in Ukraine. I work primarily with blue Chinese ink on canvas, and I also explore other techniques on request. If you have an idea for a piece, I'd love to hear it.

Whether you're looking for something special for your home or a meaningful gift, commissioning an artwork is a chance to create something personal: a piece shaped by your story, your space and my artistic approach.

How does it work?

We start with a conversation about what you have in mind. You can share favourite pieces from my collection, photographs, a mood board or simply a feeling you'd like the artwork to capture. You don't need a fully formed idea, we'll develop it together.

We'll agree on the size, technique, creative direction, budget and timing before I begin. I'll then prepare a digital sketch, which can be placed onto a photograph of your interior to help you picture the finished piece. Once you've approved the direction, I'll start creating and keep you updated along the way.

Commission process, step 1

Which size should I choose?

Send me a photo of your space and I'll help you find the right proportions. A paper template on the wall is also a simple way to see what feels right. Once we've chosen the dimensions, I'll provide a quote for the artwork and delivery.

Can I request a different technique?

Absolutely. Blue Chinese ink on canvas is at the heart of my practice, but I'm happy to discuss other techniques and colour palettes. Together, we'll find an approach that suits your idea and feels true to my work.

Commission process, step 3

How long does it take?

Timing depends on the size, complexity and my current schedule. As a guide, allow 8–14 working days for the digital sketch, followed by around 8–16 days to create the artwork once the sketch is approved. Delivery time is additional.

If you're working towards a special date, let me know early so we can discuss what's possible.

What does it cost?

Each commission is priced individually, reflecting its size, materials and the work involved in creating a bespoke piece. I'll confirm the full quote before we start.

A 50% deposit secures your commission and covers materials. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before dispatch. Payment is available by bank transfer, PayPal or Wise.

How will my artwork arrive?

Canvas works are generally shipped rolled in a protective tube, ready to be stretched or framed locally. I'll confirm the most suitable packaging for your chosen technique and can help you explore framing options.

Standard and express delivery options, costs and estimated arrival dates will be confirmed with your quote.

Commission process, step 6

What if I'm unsure about the finished piece?

Our initial conversation, sketch approval and progress updates give us opportunities to check that the work is heading in the right direction. Please share any concerns along the way so we can discuss them together.

Because each commission is made specifically for you, I don't offer returns for a change of mind. The agreed balance is payable on completion.
